Tribute

Walter James Weeks was born in Monterey, California on December 13,1969 to parents William Robert Weeks of Austin, Texas and Linda Weeks of Seoul, Korea. He was the third of four children. When Walt was a toddler, the family moved to Germany when his father was deployed while serving in the United States Army. After his father finished his tour of duty, the family relocated back to the Bay area in the city of San Pablo where Walt attended Bayview Elementary Grade School, Helms Jr High School, and Richmond High School.

In his childhood years, Walt had a passion for the sport of baseball and swimming. In his later years, he enjoyed basketball and of course became an Oakland Warriors fan. He was also a television and film aficionado and enjoyed sharing his favorites with his family and friends. He was employed with Chevron Refinery in Richmond for 12 years as a Operator.

Walt was a devoted Son, Brother, Uncle, Godfather, and Friend. He was a proud and devoted Daddy to his fur babies: Kushi, Valentino, Camila, Bam Bam, Pebbles and Beloved Lola. He was always willing to help anyone that needed his help. His smile, sense of humor, and the way he could make you laugh when sharing his stories will be especially missed by his family.

Walter is survived by his siblings Robert Weeks, Cynthia Weeks, and Thomas Weeks, his nephew Robert William Quintero, his sister in law Angelita Weeks, his brother in law Mark Schmitt, and his former spouse Fabiola Weeks. He was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Katherine Weeks and his parents William and Linda Weeks.
