Rosario “Charo” Martineau

Born in Argentina Charo resided in El Cerrito for over 50 years where she worked at Rod’s Hickory Pit, Kirby’s and Denney’s. Before coming to California, she was an actress in Argentina where she performed throughout South America. Charo was known for her witty personality and love for her family.  Charo is survived by her son Rick Martineau, daughter Monica (JR) Dunkin, grandson’s Tyler and Kyle Dunkin and great granddaughter Charlotte. She is preceded in death by her, daughter Gigi and son Alberto. Services will be held at Holy Spirit Church, 1070 N Texas St, Fairfield, on 9/20/17 at 11:00, with a reception to follow at the Dunkin residence.
