Roland Visperas, resident of Hercules, CA.
Roland Visperas was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on December 27, 2019 at the age of 77 years old. Roland was born on November 7, 1942 in Pangasinan, Philippines and migrated to the United States at 16 years old. He worked mostly as a Merchant Marine on American President Lines and other major shipping lines and served passionately as Chief Cook for many years. At the age of 44, Roland suffered a stroke while vacationing in the Philippines and became a quadriplegic ever since. Although Roland was confined to a wheelchair, he enjoyed every living breath that he had praising the Lord, worshipping at his home church and traveling to many places especially to the casinos and family gatherings. Roland was a diehard sports fan especially to the Golden State Warriors and his beloved San Francisco 49ers.
He is survived by his wife Andrea of 47 years, loving sons Eric and Scott, daughters Leilani and Cecilia, sons-in-law Jeremy Dela Cruz and Eric Cedo. He leaves behind his grandchildren Joshua and his wife Tammy, Brandon, Danilo and Samuel, his great-grandchildren Kyleigh, Jordan and Jayden. He also leaves behind his brothers Conrad, Oscar, Tomas and his sisters Lourdes, Aida, Linda, Cristina and their spouses and children, countless nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Wilson & Kratzer Mortuaries Chapel of the Mission Bells at 13644 San Pablo Ave, San Pablo, CA 94806: January 9, 2020 Visitation from 1PM - 6PM, January 10, 2020 Visitation from 3PM - 8PM with Vigil at 7PM, January 11, 2020 Memorial Service at 10AM.
