PABLO DEL CARMEN VILCHEZ MARTINEZ

Was born January 15, 1924 in Esteli, Nicaragua and died April 20, 2020 in Richmond, CA. Pablo is survived by his wife of 71 years, Gladys Dominguez Sandoval.  Also left to mourn are his children Jaime Domingo of Nicaragua,,Adrian Arnoldo, Ethel Lorena, German Oscar and Pablo Javier, all of CA, and Martha Olivia of Canada . Many grand children and great grandchildren in California, Canada and Nicaragua are left to mourn the passing of Don Pablo. He was pre deceased by his son Jorge Pablo .

 Pablo worked and managed his farm in Matagalpa, Nicaragua for 40 years.  He and his family were well known and respected members of that community.   The family is affectionately remembered to this day in their old neighborhood.

In 1990, his sons brought  Pablo and Gladys to San Pablo, CA, where they became proud members of the Judson Homes community. He was a man of strong character; humble and full of love and faithfulness for his family. In March, 2003, Don Pablo suffered a stroke, which left him unable to speak or walk. He lived the next 17 years with courage, strength and patience. Most of these years were spent in the nursing home. The daily visits of his family always brought him comfort and joy and no doubt strengthened his will to live. Sadly, he died at the age of 96, soon  after the social distancing rules were put into effect.

 Pablo will always be remembered by his family and friends for his love, honesty  and genuine character.
