Mabel Alice Koski passed away on Friday, May 10th. She touched the lives of many with her smile, laugh and kind, loving spirit.

Mabel was born in Waltham, Massachusetts. As a child she lived in New Mexico. They then moved to Richmond, CA. where she lived most of her life. At 14, she lived with her foster family in Pleasant Hill, CA who were very kind and loving. She was married to Peter Koski for 17 years and shared a lifetime of friendship. Together they had three daughters.

Mabel worked at Sealy Mattress for several years as a mechanic. She retired and took on a very special job, caring for children for 37 years.

Mabel's passions were quilting, sewing and crafting. She was a member of the Pinole Senior Center's Quilting Club., where she made lifelong friendships. She made many beautiful quilts for her family and friends. She loved to travel and was fortunate to see many parts of the world. Mabel also loved reading, playing games on her Kindle and being with her family.
Mabel is survived by Peter Koski, three daughters, Debbie Hegarty (Koski) of Pleasant Hill, Karen Masters (Koski) of Livermore, Tami Koski of Martinez and Son in Laws, Mike Hegarty and Brian Masters. Eight grandchildren, Paul Koski Sr., (Wife) Whitney Koski, Stephanie Koski, Johnny Hegarty, Adam Masters, Melanie Masters, Evan Masters, Sami Bond and Nick Linstad. Five great grandchildren, Sienna, Alise, Savannah, Scarlet and Paul jr. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother, foster sister, Karen Rice (Laird) and brother Ken Rice. Brother-in-Laws, Sister-in-Laws and many nieces and nephews. Her presence will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Service on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson and Kratzer - Chapel of the Mission Bells, 13644 San Pablo Avenue, San Pablo, CA.
