Katsuko Gilson

Katsuko Gilson was born in Tokushima Japan then as a young child moved to Osaka. She married her husband Robert in Yokohama in 1957. They moved to United States in 1960 and she proudly became a United States citizen in 1965.
She was a housewife and enjoyed being a mother to her four children. She loved gardening, cooking , the beach and watching Sumo wrestling. Katsuko was active in the Dover school PTA, Girl Scouting and Job's Daughters bethel 236. She was a member of Eastern Star Mission Bell Chapter 205.
Katsuko was preceeded in death by her husband Robert of 43 years. She is survived by her children Robert Gilson III (Sueko), Sandra Sweet, Frances Wandel (Richard), and Gene Gilson.
Grandchildren Dina, Jared (who preceeded her in death), Jeannie, Amanda, Brandin, Cody, Nicholas, Kari and Matthew.
Funeral services will be held at Wilson & Cratzer 13644 San Pablo Ave, San Pablo on Monday, June 21st at 11am and Burial to follow at Rollings Hills Cemetary. All friends and family are invited to attend.
