Mr Juan Antonio Duran

November 19, 1956 ~ June 2, 2022 (age 65) 65 Years Old

Tribute

Juan Antonio Duran, known as ‘Nano’ to his grandchildren-who brought him such joy-was born on November 19, 1956, to Juan Jose Duran and Matilde Melendez in El Salvador. He was called home to Heaven on Thursday morning, June 2, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

Juan Duran married his loving wife Rosa Angelica Duran Orellana and set goals to better the lives of his family and children. He worked hard to achieve the goals he set for himself. He was a loving, hardworking, God-fearing, and God-serving husband, father, and grandfather who always wanted the best for all his family and friends.

He lived in Stockton for the past 22 years.

Juan was a smog technician for over thirty years and continued his education when needed. Juan enjoyed going to church, reading the bible, working on cars, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and maintaining a beautiful pasture in his home. His biggest hope was that everyone he met would know the beautiful gift of salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his beloved wife; Rosa Angelica Duran Orellana, loving children Giovanni Duran, Mayra Hernandez, Edgardo Duran, Ruth Angelica Archibeque, and Angie Duran; sons-in-law Matias Hernandez, Joseph Archibeque, Sean Carroll, and daughter-in-law Karen Duran; grandchildren Jazmyne Duran, Matias Hernandez Jr., Analecia Duran, David Hernandez, Benjamin Duran, Joseph Archibeque Jr., Mia Castaneda, Sarah Duran, Anthony Hernandez, Enzo Duran, Gianna Duran, Ava Rose Carroll, Lyric Carroll, and Josiah Antonio Archibeque, and his beloved sisters and brothers, in-laws, and nieces and nephews of San Pablo, California and San Sebastian, El Salvador.

His parents, Matilde Melendez and Juan Jose Duran preceded him in death.
