Hilario Cauilan Gaffud

November 3, 1931 ~ August 4, 2023 (age 91) 91 Years Old

Tribute

Our beloved father HILARIO CAUILAN GAFFUD passed away from cardiac arrest in his home on August 4, 2023 at the age of 91.  He have 5 daughters: Maricris, Ludy, Dolly, Marian, Rholine; 3 sons: Glenn, Larry, Bernie and he is survived by 7 children, 20 grandchildren and still counting great grandchildren
He was born in Echague, Isabela on November 3, 1931.  His childhood  instilled a lifelong passion in gardening, fishing and carpentry.  He actually built his family house where we run around and make it a playground. He was a good dancer and an athlete in his younger years.  He finished secondary school in Legarda High School and Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at UERM University of the East.

He was married for 66 years to the only love of his life, TEODOSIA, who in heaven is watching over and waiting to hold his hands again. Papang and Mamang had shared mutual appreciation of the simple things in life. And, it was always "family first"... that continued throughout their long happy marriage.
They migrated to America in 1986 where they created a pleasant and gratifying life until passing.  He was a teacher, district supervisor and became a Principal in Elementary and High School in the Philippines.  He worked and retired at UCSF Medical Center in the Maintenance Department.
He is a humble, hardworking, selfless father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, friend and he always aimed to provide the best for his family …

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY HE IS IRREPLACEABLE.
