Douglas helped raise his four daughters with patience, discipline, and an abundance of
love. He taught them to read, write, and drive and often took them on long family trips to
see the natural beauty of traveling the world. Douglas was the 2nd to the youngest of his
mother’s seven children. His siblings also surviving him, Luis Madrid, Hugo Martinez,
Carlos Quintanilla, Ivy Rodriguez, Alex Garcia, and Jose Madrid.
Douglas loved soccer and was faithful to FC Barcelona, the Warriors, SF Giants, and the

roses. Douglas loved family time, gatherings, laying on his hammock, taking walks,
swimming, and being at the beach. He also loved spending time with all his
grandchildren playing soccer, going to the park, and doing art activities. He enjoyed
going to Reno with his wife, Margarita, or just about anywhere as long as they were
