Carl Parker passed away on Saturday with his beloved wife of 71 years by his side.
Born in Arkansas, Carl was raised in Summerfield, OK and moved to California in 1942 where, as a young boy, he sold newspapers on the street in downtown Richmond. His career at Chevron took him around the world managing refinery maintenance projects before he retired in 1986. He enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling in his motor home, and was a Past Master of Point Masonic Lodge #503.
Carl is survived by his loving wife, Betty; children Steve Parker (Delora) of Palm Bay, FL and Sue Kellam of Portland, OR and grandchildren Brian Parker (Michelle) of St. Petersburg, FL, Becky Haymond (Jeff) of Pompano Beach, FL, James Dismuke (Nicole) of Snoqualmie, WA, Dan Dismuke (Adria) of Portland, OR, and seven great-grandchildren. His gentle, playful, loving way will be remembered by all.
