Annie Losberger

On January 21, 2020, Annie Losberger passed away peacefully in her home.
She was born in February 1924 to Rosa and Lorenzo Duca and was a lifelong
resident of San Pablo, California. Annie was the mother of four children,
Danny Lecce (Susanne), Linda Stancombe (Kevin), Debbie Ramirez (Chris), and
Robert Losberger, Jr. (Leslie). She was lovingly known as Noni to nine
grandchildren, Christi, Dan, Marisa, Jamie, Ashley, Selena, Christopher, Tyler
and Haley, as well as a growing list of great grandchildren. She was a dear
sister to Clara Lee and the late Josephine Green, and a beloved auntie. She
was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Losberger, Sr.
It was no secret that Annie’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a
devoted and fun loving mother and grandmother, who was happiest when
immersed in a family gathering. She reveled in weekends at Lake Berryessa,
family birthday parties that covered nearly every month of the year, and
holiday celebrations. Always at the center of activity, her vivacious and ever
joyful personality made her the life of the party.
Annie had boundless energy and enjoyed daily walks, working in her garden,
tending her rose bushes, and playing bingo, easily managing the splay of cards
before her. She could cook dinner, keep an eye on the news, and complete a
crossword puzzle simultaneously. She loved Costco runs with her sisters, bus
trips with the Sirs, and fish fries at the Moose Lodge. Noni’s spaghetti was
always a special treat and impossible to replicate even though she freely
shared the recipe.
What Annie gave so freely and generously to others will endure in her legacy.
She was a model of honesty, hard work, and integrity, was never discouraged
but upbeat and grateful for the many blessings in her life. Her gifts to our
family continue to live on as her children and grandchildren raise families of
their own with Annie’s lessons as our foundation. You will be dearly missed,
Annie, and forever in our hearts.
