Angelina Alexander, née Silveira, was born January 5th, 1931, in the Açores on the island of Flores. She was born the sixth of ten children to her parents Augusto and Emilia Silveira: her siblings that preceded her in death are Maria, Lourdes, Antonio, Margarida, Palmira, Herminia and Lena and is survived by her brother and sister, Jose and Teresa. On October 20th, 1949, Angelina married the love of her life, Antonio Jacinto Silveira Alexander, and together they began their family. As they built their home and family, Angelina and Antonio had two children during their time in Flores: Antonio Humberto Alexandre and Maria Antonia Alexandre. After years of hard work and with hopes of building an even better life, Angelina and Antonio immigrated to America in 1966, and they began building a new life in California. Once there, they had two more children: Lloyd and Odete. Angelina and Antonio were blessed with over 69 years of marriage filled with love, good health, and good spirits.  Angelina always encouraged her children and grandchildren to pursue their academic, professional and personal passions. She was always there to lend support in any way she could; Angelina enjoyed cooking, sewing, Fado music, and was an avid Dr. Phil fan. She and Antonio enjoyed visiting relatives and friends, and Angelina especially loved to play Sueca. They loved their granddaughters: Marina, Sara, Rachel, and Diana; their great-grandchildren: Anthony, Kennedy, and Kash; and their many great-great-grandchildren. On April 10th, 2019, Antonio passed away peacefully, and on August 28th, 2022, Angelina joined him. She passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family. She will be deeply missed by many.
